Blogger Profile: Angie Covert

Angie Covert is the senior research coordinator at the Desert Tortoise Conservation Center (DTCC). She began her career at the Kansas City Zoo. She has a wide range of duties, from facility and staff management to coordinating volunteers. Angie also coordinates biologists, partners, and organizations that use the DTCC for training and research. She received her bachelors degree in biology from Central Missouri State University. In her free time she enjoys exploring the desert by hiking, camping, and traveling.
